I was answering a poll by @grumpasaurus@infosec.exchange and it reminded me about this amazing book about electronics that was written like a Captain Underpants book. I am curious if there are other #genX geeks that learned about #electronics from this book?
I'm digging around online for a copy. The amazon listing is $75, but #ThriftBooks has it for $20. Done! Now maybe my kids or grandkids will have the same joy in learning electronics.

@Xavier@infosec.exchange I'm Gen X but not an electronics geek. I've tried dabbling in basic electronics (I like ham radio), but had a couple bad experiences in a row (one was a "for total beginners" online class that wasn't). I was checking to see who else besides me used the #ThriftBooks hashtag today and found your post and now I have a copy of Getting Started in Electronics ordered from Thrift Books. :) Thanks!
