Remember this from Trump's first term? https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/14/us/family-separation-migrant-children-detention.html I also vaguely recall variants of this conspiracy theory including establishing false pretexts for military occupation of the US. And here we are, with US military occupation of multiple American cities under false pretexts.
