@CordiallyChloe@tech.lgbt Another fun fact about me: I'm really good at project management but I'm basically impossible to project-manage. I work so fast and so chaotically that there is no breaking things down into smaller tasks. There are no granular updates that makes sense to anyone else. There's just "yeah, still on track" and maybe "probably 3 more months". Project managers hate this one weird trick! 😂 And then, after 6 months or whatever, it materializes fully-baked, production-ready and everyone goes, "Woah! That happened so fast!"

@faithisleaping@anarres.family @CordiallyChloe@tech.lgbt I manage to make my JIRA loving boss satisfied enough by putting placeholders in my sprint planning, then over the course of the sprint, replacing them with what I actually did on those days, even when it's kinda confusing or cryptic what that actually was. I can say words in the sprint retrospective and watch everyone glaze over, but at least they know I did SOMETHING.
