IOW: If those dumb asses had been immersed in egalitarianism models rather than just uncritically believing in the bullshit they were immersed in and continue to believe, their egos wouldn’t be nearly as fragile as they are. And everyone would be happier, including them.

@CJPaloma@mstdn.social I also think it's a CHOICE -- in the world today, you gotta work hard to not know that feminism is a thing and egalitarianism exists. It's not necessarily that they were *raised* this way -- these are men CHOOSING to be like this, and continuing that choice, long after exposure to plenty of other options. They choose it because it *very often* gives them power, they very often get *rewarded* by deeply entrenched patriarchal attitudes rife in society. We have to stop rewarding this shit
