Open question:
Say a loved one dies and you want to look up information about how to get access to their online accounts and non-physical belongings, like digital photos. What kinds of words or phrases would you enter into a search?
Or if you use AI for search, how would you phrase the question?

@jilleduffy@mastodon.social It’s easier (and smarter) to run backups on a regular basis while the person is still alive. I helped a friend and mentor set up her new laptop, and one of the things I did was configure automatic backups to a hard drive. When she passed unexpectedly, I was able to simply plug in the (unencrypted) backup drive to the laptop and it copied everything to the disk. Requesting archives of social media accounts on a regular basis is also a good idea as part of the backup plan.
