@acsawdey@fosstodon.org yeah they did that but that's not really going to work with "Spock has time traveled more than once in SNW so why doesn't he know anything about it in TOS?" and so on.

@Kels_316@aus.social @acsawdey@fosstodon.org I suspect that they might take the approach of “Spock knows but he has the self control to keep it to himself no matter the personal cost” rather than the mind-wipe idea – they might even be able to mention something specific that would bring new depth to his actions / inactions in a specific well-known TOS episode (they sort of already did this with the whole “it’s essential that no-one knows that Spock had a sister” thing in Discovery / SNW & they showed that it caused him distress)
