@Kels_316@aus.social @acsawdey@fosstodon.org I suspect that they might take the approach of “Spock knows but he has the self control to keep it to himself no matter the personal cost” rather than the mind-wipe idea – they might even be able to mention something specific that would bring new depth to his actions / inactions in a specific well-known TOS episode
(they sort of already did this with the whole “it’s essential that no-one knows that Spock had a sister” thing in Discovery / SNW & they showed that it caused him distress)
