Have you ever deliberately introduced a syntax error into a program to check that the code you’re editing is the code you think you’re running?

@futzle@old.mermaid.town @foone@digipres.club and then I told my boss in my first real job because I put her phone number on the home page of the TV station — which just wouldn’t refresh the cache — and after explaining it three times, she went ballistic on me To this day I still don’t understand what the cache mechanism could’ve been on the server side. It only lasted for a day or so.
