I was actually working on another app for myself where you open an eBook (.epub) and then can also open an audio book, and it uses a speech-to-text (fully offline and locally duh) to sync the text and the audio, and it highlights it karaoke style. and cuz of that you don't need to scroll and I found it sooo much easier to focus on the text, and when I do get distracted for a moment, I don't actually lose my spot I used this for 3 hours straight on my flight 😁 I luv it (do let me know if any of you would be interested in it, as I made this purely for myself at the moment) Also you may get an audio offset in this recording, in the actual app there is no desync :)
