the former kind might get big, might become billion dollar companies and spawn billionaires
the latter kind may make it big or it might go away, but it usually goes in the history books, if only the local ones, as something everyone loved

and more importantly, only the latter kind survives any kind of bubble intact when money is the goal, bubbles bursting eliminates the goal. so the people move on to other things to make a quick buck
