@FranceskaMann@freeradical.zone Speaking for myself: This Canadian is only angry at Americans who haven't taken any new and/or proactive steps since 2016 to preserve their democracy and ensure that non-Americans don't bear the brunt of their ongoing domestic crisis. Voting/donating is no longer sufficient IMO. I consider myself "in it" and allied with those who take their responsibility as citizens seriously.

@dcdeejay@mastodon.online It is completely understandable that Canadians feel frustration and think Americans ought to be doing more. What folks might not understand is that we are essentially in Nazi Germany with secret police, who are masked and violent. We are standing up to the abuse. State sanctioned violence is not something you are allowed to oppose. But we oppose anyway. The courage this takes is unfathomable. They shoot bullets into our car tires, they break our windows.
