@klymilark@wall.fallcounty.omg.lol @anolandria@mastodon.social Yeah even though I have used "If you don't respect me I won't respect you" as a defense mechanism before the more I think about it the more dehumanizing it is I think. Everyone has their reasons for why they act the way they do, so a little sympathy in some cases can lead to mutual respect. In some cases though it's clear that people are just disrespectful. I am not saying to show Trump, Musk, Zuckerburg or any corporation sympathy, but normal people it might be good.
