@apzpins@some.apz.fi When you mentioned this game a long time ago in the discussion of ball troughs and I looked it up, I somehow completely glossed over the fact that it’s a solid-state from the 90s, because to me it looks like a classic woodrail EM from the 50s or something. Pobably very much on purpose?

    @tuomas_h@mastodon.social It's on purpose, they seem to have wanted to keep some kind of a "classic look" at least here in Europe, I've seen more modern ones with just one big screen in the backbox and even they looked exactly like this. The US made versions had more flipper pinball-like cabinet art. And in the topic of EMs, bingo pins also exist in EM versions. But with the insanely complex system to match the numbers in the grids and all the special features, they are huge mechanical disasters and weight a ton.
