#Musk: "We are 1,000% going to go bankrupt as a country and fail as a country, without AI and robots." This is the shit that annoys me. We NEED AI and robots or we're doomed! Coincidentally, #Elon sells #AI and robots. I don't think AI is evil and should be avoided at all costs. I think it has its uses if handled properly, but I also think #ElonMusk is full of shit and just trying to add even more money to his coffers. @mike@fosstodon.org sounds like "I am going to bankrupt the US" to me. He made a good start with DOGE and his support for the thief in chief. But I'm sure LLMs will let him reach further, faster in future.

@mike@fosstodon.org reminds me of Malcolm Turnbull in Australia. Before he gained power "the National Broadband Network will be late, over budget and slower than promised". Once he became PM he made sure that was true. Mostly by buying the legacy copper networks from telcos desperate to be rid of them and "at market rates" {cough}, then forcing NBNCo (a govt owned corp) to use those instead of laying fibre everywhere This is the guy famous for saying "the laws of Australia override the laws of mathematics"
