Stock footage giant locusts appear to attack the woodlands surrounding Chicago; the army deploys its own stock footage to fight back. The soundtrack is all locust squeaks and explosions. The situation is desperate.

After a tense battle, the army is defeated. The news guy tells us that the giant locusts have reached the Chicago south side and also no one should panic, so naturally we get a panicked evacuation scene. Some locusts are chasing people and eating them. We get a scene of locusts crawling on a building and another one where a girl in a towel is doing her hair and then is accosted by a locust. #monsterdon #BeginningOfTheEnd #GrasshoppersVsPostcards
