I think I was the only one who ever serviced it (mid 80s, brake cleaner and lithium grease). In the early 2000s I tried to ride it. Fixed the tires & chain, but it wouldn't shift. Pulled the side of the hub, filled it with diesel overnight, a little percussive exercise for the mechanism, and some cable tightening, and it was fine. I did about 100 miles on that bike in a couple of weeks
