Fucked my ankle very painfully coming down the stairs with some boxes and, to be frank, I don’t feel that I am being offered sufficient sympathy on the domestic front.
More of a cursory assessment that they’re not going to have the call the knacker’s yard just yet, and told to suck it up.

@Nickiquote@mstdn.social Ouch. I can sympathise. I used to regularly go over on my right ankle with the slightest lateral movement, and a few times it was so painful I saw stars. Turns out I'd snapped lateral ligaments aged about seven and finally got it fixed 40 years later. I've not gone over on it once in the last 13 years (touch wood...)
