If AI is inevitable and also solves all the problems, then it won't matter if I miss the boat because the problems related to boat-missing would be solved by the AI anyway.

    @geekysteven@beige.party why would you need to get on the boat? To see someone? Why bother, they like your AI more. To escape? Death is just the beginning and the AI version of you will live on. For leisure? Prompting AI is more fun and emits more carbon.

    @geekysteven@beige.party that's what I keep saying. "learn to prompt" isn't the whole point supposed to be that anyone can prompt

    @geekysteven@beige.party If there were any chance that it would solve all our problems, billionaires wouldn't be pushing it so hard. Therefore, I infer that it will not. You can probably extrapolate from there what I consider one of our biggest problems.
