@jbowen@mast.hpc.social @phosh@social.phosh.mobi I think it's better than that... I mean, KDE apparently runs on phones, and that's arguably beyond 1998 levels of usability. But I don't really know the details. I will be keeping an eye on this thread because I'm curious too.

@jbowen@mast.hpc.social I have a Pixel Pro with GrapheneOS and you don't have to be afraid. The only thing that doesn't really work is Google Pay. And IMO it has the best UX/privacy combination at the moment. I also have a OnePlus 6 with PostmarketOS and GNOME/Phosh and although I really like Linux, I can't imagine it as my daily driver now. Out of those non-Android OSes I think SailfishOS on Jolla phone is the most polished option. But it isn't completely open. @diazona@techhub.social @phosh@social.phosh.mobi

I have GrapheneOS on my Pixel Fold 10 as my daily driver. Don't walk, run! I absolutely love it. I have no complaints so far! My banking apps work and the ability to have like 32 "profiles" is something I didn't know I needed. I also have a pinephone that I have tried a whole bunch of Linux OS's on. I've tried Mobian, Sailfish, etc. It's just not quite there yet. Quite a few features won't work OOTB.

I use GrapheneOS on a Pixel and it's the best non-stock Android experience I've had to date. Highly recommend it
