@MicroSFF@mastodon.art This is actually more realistic in some places than you might think! I remember as a child being quite shocked, as someone from a non-sports-enthusiast household, to see a human interest story on the news making a huge deal out of family members who supported different teams "coming together" to support a mutual family member *who was dying of cancer*.
