@stefanlindbohm@mastodon.social @cycling_on_rails@mastodon.social As far as I read the regulation, the 100 minute rule only applies to onwards travel, not to hotels. Which would mean, they don’t have to pay you back if you make your own arrangements.

  • @partim@social.tchncs.de @stefanlindbohm@mastodon.social Also, as I explicitly clicked cancel to get the money back (as strongly suggested by the operator), I assume there's a loophole here were I renounced all rights for further assistance as I accepted not to travel? Even though I actually traveled by buying a new ticket which was a separate contract?

According to the Swedish Consumer Agency’s interpretation you simply have a right to food and hotels, and ”if you had to expense it you have a right to reimbursment”.
