Last night we played #Abomination, a worker placement game with a really fun theme. That is about all that was good.
The bad:
- it took almost 4 hours
- the characters you draw at the beginning are unbalanced (I drew one that basically locked me out of a sure way to earn points)
- progress feels very slow
- the hidden cards' effects vary a lot in strength
- achieving the main goal depends 100% on dice
- there are "take that" cards that can set you back significantly
Yeah, I hated it.

@drbillbongo@brettspiel.space Intersting, as we feel the opposite way. At 2 we play in around 3 hours (still long for sure), at 4 in just under 4h, but enjoying it all the way through. We do directly choose the character, last player goes first and so on. We never choose Bapttsite and the heart-lady - way too special for us. Never use the dice-role event with greys and use the academy cards, if needed. I had games, where I build 2 body parts in the 1st or latest 2nd round - not exactly so slow. (1/2)
