@drbillbongo@brettspiel.space Intersting, as we feel the opposite way. At 2 we play in around 3 hours (still long for sure), at 4 in just under 4h, but enjoying it all the way through.
We do directly choose the character, last player goes first and so on. We never choose Bapttsite and the heart-lady - way too special for us.
Never use the dice-role event with greys and use the academy cards, if needed.
I had games, where I build 2 body parts in the 1st or latest 2nd round - not exactly so slow. (1/2)

@drbillbongo@brettspiel.space On a 2P game we simply ignore the take-that cards most of the time, but haven't had one on me, that would have messed me up entirely. There are not many hidden cards in the game: the grave yard (not really a big thing), the second card on hospital and morgue and the events. The latter being the most problematic. It's a brilliant mix of Euro and Ami-Trash, but you need to like both, which we do. Otherwise totally understandable, that it didn't deliver.
