We went to parkrun today that we hadn't been to before, and it was cold, foggy, and the course was through grass that was just long enough to soak my shoes through with freezing cold winter dew. But, it was also the 3rd last run before the event closes permanently, which we didn't know until we got there. So I'm glad we went, even if it was too cold. But the other upside of the cold weather, is that I ran my best parkrun in 7 years (since 2019)! And next weekend is my first half marathon in 9 or so years! So it looks like that training is paying off! #parkrun #fitness #running
