What's so hard to understand about "I don't feel safe traveling to that country"? I was detained twice already and had my passport taken away for the duration. People have different circumstances, past experiences, and risk tolerance. You'd think that such s conversation would take all of 5 seconds.
You don't have a nut allergy? Enjoy your Snickers. Don't try to convince someone with an allergy to take a bite.

@afilina@phpc.social shiiiiiit i got detained returning home to the u.s. from canada for 8 hours and they also took possession of my passport during that.
