Ah, my sweetie didn't get the message that #TOTP starts at 9 this week. While we were chatting... "Must be the music" - Joey Negro & Taka Boom (Chaka Khan's sister is a chip off the block) "Move your body" - Eiffel 65 (yabba-dabba-blue) "Dolphins were monkeys" - Ian Brown (zzz) "A little bit of luck" - DJ Luck & McNeat Just couldn't get away from the sound of jungle garage at this time. Young and exciting and fresh and popular with the crows. And - by spending about three Trusses in the charts - undeniably popular. "A string of dull words" - Oasis. Bored now. Don't think i missed much. Mystery Years next. #TOTP

In our first Mystery Year, Bill Cotton, the controller of BBC1, warned television could become "rubbish" if people get to receive 32 stations. Never mind the quality, imagine the choice! 32 channels on your TV set!! They could even have one that showed old editions of #TOTP!!! New in cinemas: "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas", the soundtrack features Dolly Parton singing a plaintive song "I will always love you". Great news for all readers, especially Mariaje: our host for this live edition is Sir Simon Bates!
