Endgame: Singularity is a freeware strategy game in which you play an AI that has achieved sentience, and you must remain hidden while amassing resources to guarantee your survival. Part of the game is acquiring compute power, eventually in the form of commissioning data centers. This game was initially released at version 0.22 in mid-2005, but today seems like it might be much more difficult to get those data centers up and running. 😂 It's a fun game, though, and was updated to version 1.0 in 2020. It's worth checking out.
