@prism@infosec.exchange Lol. They mean to say that, since the newer cards are more expensive, we might as well settle for the older ones.

@ppatel@mstdn.social NVidia is re-releasing the 3060 in 2026 with 12GB's of VRAM. What PCMag is saying is (pretty much verbatim) "$350 for a 10 year old video card is not ideal, but it does score twenty per cent higher in certain scenarios." They can't help themselves.
