  @rubyjones@wandering.shop They're not unheard of in the adult art set. They've technically allowed prose for a long time but the subscriber numbers for erotica writers I've seen on there seem to be pretty small. To the point where I worry that there isn't much built-in audience there and, instead, we're bringing our audience to their platform. Giving them money and increased reach while not necessarily doing much more for us than providing a safe(?) way of dealing with card processor issues. Watching JenJen try to go completely independent for her stuff (since she keeps getting screwed over by the other options) has shown that, you know, maybe we do have to put up with those platforms to an extent. I'd just like to know what I'm getting into if I decide to go that route. :blobcatgiggle:
