@roknrol@beige.party They were big in Canada, but my American friends around my age don't know them as much.

@culturednyc@mastodon.social I'm wondering what your age is, generally. I'm 55, and I saw a lot of Squeeze on MTV growing up. I suspect you're a little younger and didn't have them fed to you as much. @roknrol@beige.party My old comedy group rewrote this as "Genius (In a Bar Full of Bozos)" for one of our characters, a scientist who invents a cocktail that makes her a sexy lady. I don't remember many of the lyrics or I'd share. Thank you for cuing this foggy but fond memory.
