@culturednyc@mastodon.social I'm wondering what your age is, generally. I'm 55, and I saw a lot of Squeeze on MTV growing up. I suspect you're a little younger and didn't have them fed to you as much.
@roknrol@beige.party My old comedy group rewrote this as "Genius (In a Bar Full of Bozos)" for one of our characters, a scientist who invents a cocktail that makes her a sexy lady. I don't remember many of the lyrics or I'd share. Thank you for cuing this foggy but fond memory.

@spiegelmama@infosec.exchange @roknrol@beige.party I’m almost 59, and I’m just basing this on how on all my HS friends growing up in Canada new and loved them to bits, but my US friends my age and younger don’t seem to know them.
