@littlealex@infosec.exchange @kiteless@furries.club I often think about what it would take to make CRTs again. There’s just so many things gone; chemicals, processes, tooling, components, know how… it would take billions of dollars and years to spin up everything necessary.

@forty2@oldbytes.space @kiteless@furries.club Don't forget the whole high voltage assembly... We simply have forgotten so many things. Even if we want, we would have to reinvent a lot. We still have some of the workers and engineers alive today, but not for very much longer. Not much time to save and document as much as possible.
