@TindrasGrove@infosec.exchange Kind of thing which also often makes me wonder what happens if someone looses their phone and they got all their sms/2fa stuff in it.
Wouldn't even be surprised that it would be a struggle to buy a new sim card, and well last time I bought a cellphone they wanted the number for the delivery (usually to ping beforehand or in case bell/intercom doesn't works).

@lanodan@queer.hacktivis.me @TindrasGrove@infosec.exchange as I understand, it's quite a common thing for unhoused people to go through this cycle: * get shitty prepaid phone * sign up for accounts with SMS 2FA * be required to use those accounts to access benefits * get caught in an encampment sweep, and all their shit including their phone gets thrown away * oops, they can't access their 2FA any more * ...get shitty prepaid phone and create all new accounts
