Search is full of slop. On a default install of Debian, without a GE, that has never been turned off, how do I update the kernel?
I have tried variants of 'apt-get upgrade'.
Do I just reboot and try again? That's the closest to a coherent answer the slop provided without installing more stuff.

@noodle@aus.social should just be: sudo apt update sudo apt full-upgrade

@noodle@aus.social have you done `apt update`? `apt policy linux-image-amd64` will show you whether apt thinks there are new versions available
