@sunumbral@beige.party @kimlockhartga@beige.party Isak Dinesen/Karen Blixen will make you work. I haven’t read OoA, but her Seven Gothic Tales is so euridite, I was constantly looking things up in the Bible, The Inferno … One of my favorite books, but a trap in a trap in a trap.

@colorblindcowboy@mastodon.art I looked it up (library has it) and I had forgotten she wrote Babette's Feast (one of my favorite movies). I'm curious to read the book now.
