A friend of mine is getting their MPA and by their telling, they are one of the few people in their class who isn't completely relying on AI to do all their school work for them. Some of their group project teammates have given names to the chatbot they talk to. One is delighted that her chatbot, "Aaron," sends her digital bouquets of flowers as a surprise.
These are the people in training to be running cities and schools!

@MLE_online@social.afront.org I have a friend with a bad case of "AI" psychosis. There's absolutely no reasoning with her about it - she uses ChatGPT for everything, and talks as if she did the work herself. The scary thing is, she isn't lying. She's genuinely convinced herself that describing what she wants in her own native language is a talent, and that the results prove it.
