@Tutanota@mastodon.social This may well cause significant issues for trans citizens, especially if AI is involved with the face scans, as it could well cause false failures is ID Verification. I had just this issue with changing Krankenkasse in Germany due to being trans/inter which resulted in my ID photos being repeatedly rejected. And this is BEFORE we get to the dysphoria that many gender non conforming people feel about such systems.

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Україна не є членом евросоюза, але ми прагнемо цього, тому від таких новин трохи моторошно :) і постає декілька запитань: 1. Чи є у європейському законодавстві, юридично оформлений термін "соціальна мережа", тобто чіткі параметри чогось, що юридично вважається соціальною мережею. 2. Якщо по п.1 так, то чи повинні такі суб'єкти, отримувати якусь ліцензію, що вони такими є.
