Opened a can of evaporated milk for a recipe. The contents were a deep yellow colour that seemed suspicious, so I searched on the internet "what colour should evaporated milk be?"
Page after page (I stopped scrolling at about 60 results) of near-identical AI generated useless websites, each with paragraph after paragraph of "What is evaporated milk? What do you use it for? What are the scientific reasons for its colour?"
None just with a photo saying "if your milk looks like this, don't use it".
Strategy 2 - read bottom of can. Best Before 2020-06-30.
