I voted no,
But I'm unemployed with the only credible job options demanding I supervise the AI tools to do what I do instead of doing the work myself.
So in that way... It would be the case, but I refuse.

@RyeNCode@mstdn.ca @cap_ybarra@beige.party I'm in the same situation. I got laid off because leadership had been fucking up the project we were working on for years and because layoffs were popular. We were just starting to get pressured to use AI when that happened. Now I'm searching desperately for something that won't require it and afraid I might have to settle for merely something that won't help it spread even further.

@RyeNCode@mstdn.ca @cap_ybarra@beige.party There is a lot of competition for the jobs that don't force you to use LLMs. Employers should reflect on that a while.
