I guess I need to strike a balance between fostering that shift in mindset (slow down, less/no dopamine) and offering up some relatively quick 'results' to make people think, 'hmm, this is alright, I'll stick with it for another 15/30/60 days', etc.
It's probably obvious, but the community I'm thinking of is deeply embedded in the Instagram platform/mindset. Part of my 'pitch' is that this is *social* media, not an alternative marketing platform, i.e. come for the conversation, not the likes and new business.

@blag@typo.social My pitch (inasmuch as I have anyone to pitch to) is that this thing is such a different experience without the algorithm and advertising driving it. Not just that there’s no longer a formula deciding what you’re seeing — that the whole incentive structure changes for what to post. My fear is that it turns out they all kind of like chasing that, or at least are too programmed to by now. It looks similar, but it’s too different.
