At the top is a palimpsest with the most prominent layer looking like "Salon Raymond, Rue du Commerce".   I am deeply saddened to hear that Norma Jeanne Maloney (Red Rider Studios) is nearing the end of her life. Perhaps most well known for her memorable appearance in Sign Painters, she has also been a teacher and mentor to many of today's women sign painters.
