@Janet_52square@sunny.garden @suearcher@toot.wales @tempusfelix@wehavecookies.social now, I'm trying to work out how I could put one of those in my garden, but I fear it is wider than my doors or side path, plus it's probably heavier than would be safe on the deck

@ianturton@mapstodon.space @Janet_52square@sunny.garden @tempusfelix@wehavecookies.social The standard one is apparently a metre wide, and full, weighs literally a tonne. (well, just over, the water weighs a tonne) You can get smaller sizes, I believe.

@ianturton@mapstodon.space @Janet_52square@sunny.garden @suearcher@toot.wales They have the same size footprint as a pallet, and empty can be handled by 2 able bodied people, although 3 might be safer. As Sue says, full, the big ones hold over 1000L, so over the tonne. Probably 1100kg full. I have them on concrete block plinths.
