Had a call from my "domain registrar" today offering "additional solutions" - they knew a lot of publicly available information about me and my domains, but nothing to prove their bona fides. They offered to send an email with a link, until I pointed out they can be spoofed. Told them they shouldn't be calling as I'd opted out of marketing calls. Not sure if they were after my domains or credit card details (or both) - but was happy to waste their time while I hung out the laundry. #scam
