@DevWouter@mastodon.social Like Trump himself. Every negative stereotype of USians has been proven correct by that horrible man. And, I suppose, every negative stereotype of FIFA has been proven by Infantino's infatuation with Trump.

@lmgenealogy@mstdn.ca I was more thinking in terms of sport-as-a-culture and sport-as-entertainment. Imagine a music festival that gets interrupted so that some unrelated parties can play a demo-game. That would just be as strange and awkward to my sensibilities as interrupting a sport match. Mind you that this might be my bias talking.
