I just called the rocketmortgage Chatbot a pathological liar. I invoked the chat to ask where the upload button was for my tax document. It told me. Go to your inbox. I said it’s not there. There’s no button there. Then it told me a different website rocketmortgage.com instead ofrocket.com. I tried that. Nope it took me back to rocket.com. I went to the inbox. There’s no button there. I said there’s no upload button there. The bot told me I needed to contact a client service person to upload the tax statement. Wait a second I said you just told me there was a button for it. Oh, we changed it now you have to talk to a customer rep. Why I asked. Security reasons, it answered. Why didn’t you tell me that in the first place? We recently changed the policy was the answer. Well that stinks. Why did you change the policy? Security reasons was the answer. I said it seems like you’re making up any story you want like an artificial intelligence liar. What’s wrong with you? I understand your frustration it answered. Would you like me to connect you to a customer service person? You’re just trying to get rid of me aren’t you? I answered. You’ll tell any lie just to get rid of me.
