oh my god officially the weirdest user workflow discovered today... someone was using the Microsoft Outlook Saved Signature Templates for rich text document storage. So to get the contents of their documents they had to open outlook, go to file>options>mail>signatures, scroll through a huge list of saved signatures, find one, click drag select all the text, copy it, click cancel twice, then they could paste it somewhere to edit or share it.

@earthshine@masto.hackers.town people come up with some amazing ways to use software. I did QA for a time before getting into security and some of the things we would find out were being done with our in-house software was…well, eye opening?
