I'm with Matt on this exchange, that has been going on a while. The harassment of, especially, thoughtful writers, educators, journalists, higher profile accounts on here drives so many people away and on to Bluesky.
If the Vatican started an instance on the Fediverse, would you demand CW on any religious posts? It's on you to avert your eyes, mute, block, etc. You have the tools.

@USelaine@mastodon.online if the Vatican were here there'd be SO many Catholic child-abuse victims unhappy about the Holy See advertising on the fediverse so yeah, if such a thing were to occur it might be wise for them to CW their shit. but a hyperpolitical entity shouldn't be here in the first place.
