I'm actually in a book club. I read the book each month. And if I don't read it? I don't go.
Reading the book is *the point.* If you show up and start spouting the opinions of AI slop, I'm going to be pissed. Why are you even here? You didn't read the book! You know nothing about it! And no, that LLM summary doesn't solve that! The nuances matter!
(Yes, this is frustration from a commercial I just saw.)

@CordiallyChloe@tech.lgbt Every time I see a commercial telling me what AI chat is good for I feel sorry for anyone who feels the need to use it. This weekend I decided to make a pie, and I wanted to tips on how to make a good crust. So what did I do? I asked my spouse who makes pies if they had any recommendations. I reached out to someone. No AI needed. I feel like asking a chatbot questions is a sign that something has gone wrong in your life to make that feel necessary.
