To be clear, I do understand that it's irritating when things don't function as expected, and we were both kinda forced onto this new paradigm.
However, I have no ability to fix his email, nor do I know the first thing about Outlook, so there's literally nothing I can do.

In much more interesting news, however, I'm happy to find that a simple bluetooth dongle immediately allowed me to connect my preferred keyboard and mouse to The New PC without needing to install any drivers that would no doubt require admin approval. The same with a wifi dongle allowing me to connect it to the same network as my phone so I *should* be able to file share.
