I'm in a restaurant and a baby is staring at me. it would be rude of me to not make funny faces.

I assume these parents would be cool with it, but I'm sure there are some out there who would react with "excuse me, but how dare you subject my infant child to a moment of whimsy and amusement as their perception of the world around them takes shape from its surroundings."
